Finally, after so many reschedules, Helen's family and mine can finally gather for a dinner. It's like a reunion. After I've left HSBC, there are only a few ex-coworkers that I still hang out with. Helen Wu is one of them. They suggested to go to Fontana Sushi, because the owner has several business accounts with HSBC, and Helen always helped him telling him all transactions needed to be reported to the owner. It was kinda like extra work for Helen because she has a lot more to take care of. Yet, she always helped him. Therefore, we had a big discounts on having the best sushi.
It was so fresh and I felt the fish's spirit before its death. No, I was not being exaggerated. It was fresh. We had raw oysters from Australia, France and Japan; we had salmon sashimi from all over the world too (like 3 countries but I cannot recall what the owner told us what they were); and the super yummy Uni. We had so many new kinds of dishes that we never had before. The main reason was we don't know what to order besides Salmon, yellow tail, and Eel.
Besides the food, we had tons of fun too. Anson, Helen's son was playing with Steve's iPhone for almost the whole night. For Nicolas, we kept on feeding him noodles so he can be quiet. Helen and her husband were telling us a lot of Anson, that he was "diagnose" to be a "genius" so he cannot concentrate in school. He was too smart that school stuff cannot interest him. Nicolas is till young, when he goes to school, I cannot imagine what will happen.
Best to all.
